Student Life

Student Handbook CoverYour education at Mars Hill University encompasses more than just what happens in the classroom!  Extra-curricular clubs and activities help build the relationships that are part of the college experience.  Other services enrich the classroom experience, or provide for your health, well-being, and safety while you are a student at Mars Hill. The Student Life program encompasses housing, student government, student activities, counseling, health care, orientation, student organizations, and campus police. Intercollegiate and intramural athletics, food services, and the bookstore are also vital pieces of college life. In addition, the LifeWorks Learning Partnership, links the liberal arts education to life and work.

Worship at MHU

Mars Hill is a place where students are encouraged to integrate faith into their exploration of the world. The Chaplain’s Office serves as a resource in this regard. We sponsor weekly Crossroads services; facilitate the workings of the Christian Student Movement; offer support to blueprint, On a Mission, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes; provide pastoral counseling and guidance to students, faculty, and staff; and relate externally to congregations and agencies supportive of our mission. In general, we seek to facilitate the religious dialogue on campus and meet the spiritual needs of the Mars Hill family.
